Sheila Alligood McDonald has been in the business for over 27 years. After attending cosmetology school she trained with Scott Cole where she refined her cutting skills. She later became a member of Cole’s artistic team, where she studied the Vidal Sassoon cutting style. Sheila is a true perfectionist. She is able to create beautiful hairstyles with her vast knowledge and experience. She is a precision hair cutter and loves to create dimension with blonde highlights.

Inspiration: A beautifully cut bob. Being outdoors and seeing the world through my children’s eyes.

Christie Bazemore is one of the salons most creative talents. She attended the Art Institute of Atlanta where she learned the fundamentals of creating a beautiful work of art. After graduating college she attended cosmetology school and soon after became a part of Maria’s growing team where she learned the Framesi Italian Style of haircutting. Christie has been in the industry for over eight years. She is an in salon educator for the junior stylists at MH Salon. With her creative eye and likeable personality she is able to sculpt a haircut perfect for anyone.

Ric Brewer has been a part of MH Salon for over four years. He attended Paul Mitchell the School of Atlanta where he studied under Scott Cole. After graduating he gained experience by working on the set of independent film and also worked as a photographer’s assistant. Ric worked at a few other salons before finding his home at Maria Heckscher’s. His first love is cutting but he has a great eye and passion for color. He is always able to create beautiful hair that is suitable for any lifestyle.

Josie Labara grew up in the hairstyling industry. Her father owns a salon in Michigan and from age five she was able to discover her passion of making people look and feel beautiful. She learned the art of hair color from her friend and mentor John Teitter. Josie always has the latest edge up on the season’s fashion. She believes in continuing education and has studied in New York and Italy. She is extremely talented; creating gorgeous updo’s is one of her specialties. You will never leave Josie’s chair without feeling like a million bucks.

Amanda Cary is our leading skin care expert. Whatever your questions may be, she surely has the answer. She has been in the business for over fifteen years. Amanda attended ISSN where she obtained her Esthetician license. She focuses on every client’s personal skincare needs and is able to recommend the proper in spa and take home procedures. Currently, she is the only Esthetician’s inside the perimeter that is offering the Intraceuticals Oxygen Treatments. She prides herself on precise yet pain free extractions and waxing.

Irina Snyderman has been in the hairstyling industry for fifteen years. She attended cosmetology school in the US after relocating from her native Russia. Irina has a wonderful work ethic and is definitely known for putting in long hours and accommodating her client’s schedules. She is a true professional.

Hannah Hudson is our salon coordinator and manager. She is the kind voice that you hear on your voicemail reminding you about your next scheduled appointment. Hannah attended Georgia College and State where she graduated with her BBA in management. She has been with the salon since April of 2007. She is always willing to accommodate any clients scheduling needs. Hannah is always helpful and eager to answer any questions you may have about the salon, retail purchases, or anything else you may need.

Mandy Gispert has been in the industry for thirteen years. She has a long list of qualifications. She has formerly owned her own salon, she styles for private wedding parties, fashion shows, photo shoots and many other special events. Mandy is an expert colorist and she absolutely loves the challenge. Mandy bubbly personality is sure to keep you looking and feeling great.

Victoria Coronado is a new talent at MH Salon. She studied cosmetology all four years of high school and continued her education as an apprentice under Maria for the past two years. She has attended various Framesi Italian Style cutting classes, her most recent in Prague. Victoria is a natural talent; she is always eager to learn from her superiors, yet is blessed with a creative eye for cutting and color. Her sweet and spunky personality is sure to make you feel appreciated.

Casara Schiff is currently apprenticing for her cosmetology license at MH Salon. Prior to her apprenticeship she attended Georgia State University and graduated with her BBA in management. While finishing up her hours she is gaining knowledge daily being mentored by many of the talented stylists at MH Salon. Casara attends classes regularly and has been learning the Framesi Italian Cutting Style, her most recent education in Prague. Casara’s attention to detail shows with her style and creativity.

Caroline Kraft is one of our newest stylists. She joined MH Salon in 2007, after graduating from the Paul Mitchell School where she studied under Scott Cole. There she learned the basics of haircutting and color, but has since expanded her knowledge by attending various Framesi Italian Style classes in Atlanta, as well as Prague. She has an eye for style and her favorite accessory is a smile!

Daryl Schulman has had a long running career with MH Salon. Starting out as Maria’s assistant, she has worked diligently over the past ten years to become an established stylist. Her talent ranges from classic haircutting to the latest trends in Italian styling. She loves to learn and is great about educating her clients on how to style their hair at home. Daryl is down to earth and her warm personality is sure to keep you coming back.

Anne Willfert Muller has been in the industry for twenty years. She has a long list of accomplishments, including her certification as a Framesi Color Technician and Educator. Anne also has her B.A. in Speech Communication which we believe plays a key role in her thorough client consultations. Anne’s a great listener and we know you’ll love her quirky personality.

Julie Kendrick Reid has been at MH Salon for eight years. She began her training in the industry as an esthetician. She graduated from the International School of Skincare and later apprenticed under Maria for her cosmetology license. Julie is an incredibly talented colorist. She is also great at creating subtle changes in your look that you can easily recreate at home. Julie is always approachable and her honesty will help you pick your best look.
